Tilligerry Habitat Orchid Day
2 King Albert Ave
Tanilba Bay NSW 2319
Australia
Everyone is welcome to an Orchid Day at the Tilligerry Habitat. Small, exquisite and ephemeral, an interest in orchids is richly rewarded with enjoyment of the most incredible variety of blooms.
There are over 28,000 species of orchid on the planet, that is more than twice the number of bird species, so we are really living in a big, bad orchid world, we just don’t know it. The holy grail of orchids around these parts seems to be the wonderful flying duck orchid, caleana major, pictured here.
