Tilligerry Habitat and the Tilligerry Peninsula Chamber of Commerce are hosting certified First Aid training for businesses and individuals on the peninsula on 24th March at Tilligerry Habitat. The cost is $130, or $110 for Tilligerry Chamber members (one discounted place per member).

The course is “blended” in that most of the subjects are done online and ending with a final face-to-face practical and assessment.

The 24th March is the date for only the face-to-face part. Participants, once enrolled, will need to do most of the course online before that date. This might take ½ to 4 hours depending upon prior knowledge. Tilligerry Habitat can help with computer access by prior arrangement if you require it.

There is a limitation in gaining a certificate – participants ***must** be able to perform CPR on a dummy on the floor ***not*** on a table or raised platform. This is a real world assessment.l

If participants would like a TAFE recognition and certificate for completing the course they need to enroll providing their Unique Student Identifier (USI) along with their legal name and date of birth so that the USI can be verified. The USI system was made mandatory by the Australian Government in 2014 for all Registered Training Organisations. You can read more at the training organization information page here:
